I forgot to mention a few other things-- she has recently been to the vet so there's no physiological cause that we can tell for her behavior.

Also, part of my indecision is that she's great with people when properly introduced-- i.e., at home, with my clear invitation to the person to enter into our home.

Finally, I think the other breed in her is maybe some other kind of terrier-- she's on the smallish side (40 lbs)-- though some people have said blue heeler and said that might make her more aggressive? I know that it is rearing that makes the difference, but at this point I'm really starting to believe in the breeding issue too. She's had a really good life with structure and exposure and exercise, and now I can barely control her.

Thanks for any advice/thoughts you have.
