Hello. I found a stray male pit bull a few months ago. He was in extremely bad shape, but we have nursed him back to full health. He is about 3 years old according to the vet. He is very good with children, adults, small dogs and even my 2 cats. He is so affectionate and playful. I don't know how he would be with another large dog. I think he might be afraid, and therefore might be aggressive? I have no experience with pit bulls, so perhaps you can give me some suggestions about this.
I love him very much, but I must find him another home because my friend who watches my home when I am away is afraid of pit bulls, no matter how sweet this one is. So I have no choice.
I can tell that he was an indoor dog before, because he knew not to come in the kitchen, he brings his leash to me, he is fine for several hours at a time when we have to leave him alone in the house.
I am in Texas, but we plan to be going in your general direction in the near future.
If you would like me to send you a picture, I can e-mail it to you. His name is Patches. He is white with black patches. He is a wonderful pet.
Please reply and let me know if you might be interested.
