Greetings! A sweet and handsome unfixed male that loves people followed me home as I was walking my dog. He is very well-behaved, sits & stays better than my dog. Seems really smart and definately eager to please. He has short gray hair, gray/brown eyes, a little white on his chest. He might be part Weimaraner with the gray coat and eyes. Everytime I walk him, neighbors comment how beautiful he looks - so for now I am calling him Beau but he would probably respond to any name - he just loves attention! I believe he is young, possibly under 1 yr. I really did not know what type of dog he was until a nice lady who saw my "Found Dog" ad on the Cooperfield web site called and mentioned that he really look like a pit bull. She also shared that if I were to take him to a shelter , he would most like be killed immediately. That is just too sad to think about. She referred me to this web site and I am really hope to save this guy. In my opionion he is truly an adoptable dog to a loving home. In addition to loving people he has also done great with the kids next door. I can not say how he would be with cats. The only aggression I have seen him show is towards my fixed female. These two just do not get along and I am between contracts and can not afford another dog anyhow. I believe it would be best if he were the only dog in his new home (as far as I can tell) and that he were with someone committed to truly making him a part of their family. He likes to be a part of the "pack" and loves to play and go on walks. It breaks my heart to hear him whimper a little from outside when he hears me and my fiance playing with my dog inside. I do what I can - walks & playing a little fetch but he needs his own family. If you are looking for a good companion - I believe he fits the bill. You can see a picture of him on the Cooperfield web site : http://www.copperfield.org/pets.html just look for the "Found Dog" Ad dated 11/10/05. He will be neuterd before delivery to new home and adoption fee will cover costs. Please contact me if you are interested in this deserving boy: jen_artist@yahoo.com
