Yes, he is. He's a great guy, but we would still like to find a home for him. I found him on my home from work (as a veterinarian technician) and picked him up. He has proven himself to be an amazing guy. He wants nothing more than to please.
He plays well with most of my dogs-we have 7. There is one with whom he does not do well, and an old dog who has had extensive orthopaedic surgury therefore we don't allow them together. He's a typical pit, plays and plays hard.
We have 70 acres and 3 ponds, so when the dogs are out of the yard he gets lots of excercis. One whistle and he comes running!
We are terribly fond of him, but he would do better in a household with fewer dogs where he will get more personal attention. He has done very well with the large group we have, and it takes a special dog to fit in.
He is 61 pounds, white with brindle mask (symetrical) and brindle on his lift hindquarter and base of tail. He is current on vaccines and heartworm negative. He is on heartworm preventative as well.
Please respond with any other questions as we want what is best for him. Oh yes, my husband calls him Petey.
