Hello,
I am a member of the Pomeranian Board on AOL. One member came across a pitbull puppy on the street who was laying next to it's dead sibling, extremely emaciated showing ribcage and weak. She took him in but cannot keep him due to her new chihuahua with mange and two other dogs. The dog has been diagnosed with heartworms and is now taking medication and is getting weight on her. We thought we had a home for her...another member of the board offered to adopt her. We were wrong. The puppy has gone to Terrell, Texas with this other member but she is reluctant to be willing to let her pom and the puppy work things out and wants it out immediately. (Yes I am in rage about this). I am involved in many rescues, especially transports. This is an emergency situation to me. I will now post what Colleen, the woman who found her, had to say about her:

This is such a SWEET dog and in great health now and she learns quick. Good with kids and even though Ashley's dog is having a problem with the dog there was NO problem with her when she was here and we have a male lab, a female husky (all fixed) and Mango the Pom plus cats. No agression at all.
Was outside with all those animals and kids and NO problems. She did play rough with the lab which is big and about a year old but that was puppy play and the lab was the one who played roughest.

I'm still praying for the next miracle for this girl. I'm also praying Ashley will hang in there and handle things until we can move the dog which may take a week.

Please guys, I need your help. I am in MA, and cannot take this dog in nor help it in any way. Is anyone willing to adopt, or at least foster for now? This poor puppy has been thru so much, she is lucky to be alive. She needs a good home where she can be happy...permanently. Thank you all and I am praying to hear from someone soon!
