Hello. We live in Houston, near West University. We have a 17 month old female pit mix we rescued. She knows how to sit, stay, shake and do a silent bark. She is content to stay behind a baby gate while we are out, lick and plays until you are tired out, is house trained, doe not bark much, loves strangers, sleeps on the bed at night, and is the most affectionate dog we have ever had. Here is the bad stuff: She needs a gentle but firm person to guide her and lovingly train her. She gets out of control when she is asked to come inside -- she loves to chase real and imaginary squirrels! She will lunge and bite, and it looks like play. She cannot be around other dogs. Some cats are o.k. Big kids are great, if she receives the training she needs. Please post a message here and we will get back with you! Please help us keep her from being destroyed!
