Houston, Texas. Jake strayed in a couple of months ago. About a year old, very loving, sweet and playful. He had heartworms and is finishing up his last "quiet and rest" period. Once he's finished with the rest period, he will be ready for lots of exercise. This is my first time to be around a staffy, and I'm amazed with the personality and lean muscular body. He's such a beautiful animal.

White with blue spots. Big brown eyes. Cropped ears. About 70 lbs. Basic commands. Must have been reasonably cared for before he strayed or was dumped.

I already have 3 dogs which is the limit here and my neighborhood association is strict, so I need to find him a good home, with someone who can provide the care and love he needs. Otherwise, I would love to keep him.

Might be best in an adult home, although I've not had him around any children. Fine with my female dogs. My older male dog does not like him and is aggressive toward him. Jake has not been aggressive toward him, but will protect himself. Not good with cats.

Current with all his shots and now on heartworm preventative. Not neutered. Waiting until he's finished with the heartworm treatment for that.
