I just found out that there is a sweet pit bull in the shelter/pound in either Clute or Freeport. She is due to be put down tomorrow. Her owner, a single mom with two kids, is having to move to Houston to an apt and can't take her. Additionally, the fines for the dog getting out were well beyond her means. Someone actually went into the yard and intentionally release her so that she would be picked up. PLEASE rescue her . She is not a biter or mean dog. Is good with kids. Current shots, I am told. We have two Weimeraners from Weim Rescue and I feel strongly about Rescue Groups. I hope that you can help this dog. I will post again later with the definite location of the shelter.
