Subject: Abandoned pit/lab mix

Please help. My daughter was "gifted" with a sweet pit/lab mix when a neighbor moved and left him. She would keep him, but he's started going over her 4 foot fence. Even if she could afford to put up a 6 foot fence, she lives in a leased house in a restricted neighborhood and can't. The neighborhood association also won't allow her to extend the height of the current fence. He is extremely sweet, great with her small kids and completely housebroken. He's a sleek black with white on his chest and legs, about a year and a half old. I already have 7 dogs, most rescues, and I just can't take him or I would. He deserves a loving home. Currently he is chained in her back yard, which we know is bad, but he has no experience with cars and we know he will get hit. She lives in Houston, Tx. We have checked with the local shelters and all are full and don't take pits or put them to sleep. Please some one give this sweet dog the loving home he needs.
