Help, we are a small rescue group in Bandera Texas and are desperate for help with saving 5 pit bull and pit bull mixes that are in a terrible neglect situation. Can't call the sheriff as they will destroy the dogs. They are gentle creatures that have heavy chains around their necks and only a few feet of movement. We have already taken six dogs from this horrible place but are needing some foster homes for the others. These are not mean dogs, just dirty and in need of care. We are Cowboy Captital Pet Assistance League, a non-profit group in Bandera. I can be reached at 830-510-6559 (Joanna) or call Connie at 830-510-6115). We go out to feed them every day. The "owner" is mentally chanllenged and in the hospital (social workers have been called). Please call if you know anyone that could foster just one for a short time. Thanks for your help.
