Almost half the dogs there are pit bulls surrendered by owners who decided they could not handle the dogs for one reason or another. I could not take one because I have another dog. But they are so sweet and it was so heartbreaking. I just wanted to tell people, if you are looking for a pit bull, don't shop around to buy one one, go to a pound, there are plenty that need a home.
