I work at an animal emergency clinic in Beaumont, TX. Two teenage girls left this dog roaming in front of our clinic because they didn't want anything to do with it. I took it in, and have began treating it for demodex mange. It has a very severe case of mange, but the good news is that it is the genetic type of mange and not the contagious kind. He is heartworm negative, but needs to be retested in 6 months to make sure he remains negative. I guess him to be about a year old and he isn't neutered. He is about 15 pounds underweight, and well, really ugly right now because he has hardly any hair. But nevertheless, he's such a good natured dog and will make a great pet. Please contact me if you're seriously interested in rescuing this dog.
