Amber rays divine peer forth as brave soldiers into a land of mystery, darkness pulled away with those gently probing fingers and cowering off into the comfort of shadows saved for its inhabitance 'till the midnight hours drew its hand back over the land. Glorious hues chiding and brightening the grey of early dawn. Warm breeze stirring from its resting place to make the daily round of land and sea and the much awaited sun takes its rightful place within the alabaster flecked dome. Amongst the reawakening of the earth you walk in quiet awe of the beauty revealed to your travel wearied soul. Walking through a small valley created by two knolls you find yourself in a land forgotten to all the world save its inhabitants. Emerald hills spotted with small herds of equines just awakening from the night's rest, small foals dancing about on limbs to long for their bodys, the dainty pelts glittering with the dew
of morn like a thousand diamonds. A land of peace and prosperity is what lays before you with the choice to stay or go...

Welcome to Canter Away, a wild horse Role Play Game (RPG). Canter Away first began nearly four years ago when Chandal Solie opened it to teach young girls how to role play on the internet. It was a well loved game by many of today's greatest role players.
Unfortunately, Chandi grew busy and it was turned over to Lindsey. She ran is for a few months before it died and she closed it down for good.
For several years we have missed this wonderful game and now two of CA's most dedicated players are continuing the legacy.
Sam and Aly were known all over Canter Away by names such as Myrrakhal and Desert Fire, and now they have renewed those horses as well as the game.
They are doing all they can to make the game very similar to what it once was, a friendly place where they first learned to role play as 11 and 12 year olds.
Now they are 14 and 16 and have decided that Canter Away should again be available. They have brought all of the territories back (that they could remember) from when it shut down,
as well as the main boards. Now you can join in on what was once one of the most popular games on the net. Who knows..maybe you'll even meet some more of the original players.
