Subject: Welcome

Hi all. I hope that everyone is having a great summer.

Now that many of us have graduated and don't see each other every day, I figure that we could use some kind of forum that would allow us to keep track of what we're all up to. I don't mean on a daily basis, but in general.

So, in getting with the nerdy MIT spirit, I thought that I'd create a message board. The chemical engineers have had something like this going for a couple of years now. It has been working out for them, so I figure that we should give it a try.

This message board is meant to be a place where graduated EPs can tell others about what they are doing, advertise parties or events, maybe share links to cool jokes or pictures (sorry, no porn), job oportunities, or whatever. It's also important that the we keep a link going to the EPs still in Saskatoon as we are their best resource for good jobs. I realise that the board will likely have busy and relaxed periods, and some will use it more often than others, but that's fine. Of course, you are not required to actively participate. You are welcome to simply spy in if that's your thing.

I'm going to assume that you physics people can figure out how to use this sight, so I'm including no explanations. But, if you have questions, requests, etc., please feel free to contact me. I do plan to make it look a little more spiffy, soon.

Take care,

Tim Fofonoff
