It's nice to know that Morrel is still giving out jobs to UofS EP grads. Cindy Diederichs from EP '87 and Mark Hinds MSc (EE/ISAS '89?) worked there. Mark was field engineer on the MPB WetMux and spent a lot of time in mid-Atlantic on cable laying ships. Both went on to Nortel. I interviewed with Morrel and got an offer back in '96.

Has the MPB HR department got any plans or policies in place yet? I asked for a copy of the MPB benefits plan (RRSP, insurance, etc.) when I got the offer letter - they didnt seem to have anything written down so I turned them down. Not that it mattered, we had already decided to get the hell out of Quebec and went to Colorado instead.

Good luck.

Regards, mcm
