I presume you are referring to tubers of the highly noxious weed, Madiera Vine (Anredera cordifolia). Not only is this vine not at all attractive - it has very mundane flowers. It is also a particularly horrendous weed that produces enormous numbers of little aerial and subterranean tubers. The plant literally buries rainforests under masses of foliage and is almost impossibe to eradicate once well established.
It is highly irresponsible to spread this pest around. A quick internet search will provide full information.
