With no ability to photosynthesize this plant perforce must die (if it has not already) It may be possible to graft it onto another Adenium - even another seedling may work - possibly even creating a chimaera.
This is out of my area of specialisation. However, I expect the Adenium specialists may have been very interested in this mutation. They certainly would have replied to your question and could advise how uncommon it is.
