Subject: epiphyllum-dragon fruit

Prior to Vietnamese dragon fruit tree was introduced into Aus. There was many similarly Epiphyllum grow around Brisbane as ornamental plant. The profile of the catus look similarly, their flowers look the same. However the one in Australia does not give fruit. Does anyone know how to make it give fruit as the one was introduced later from VN?
