Subject: Moving Cacti to WA

Hi, I am moving to Perth in a week, and I would like to take my cacti. I have contacted WA Quarantine and they said that I need to contact the Department of Primary Industries (DPI), get a Plant Health Certificate (PHC) and bare root the cacti. I have contacted DPI and they said that the person that I need to talk to isn't available until next week. I am leaving in a week and this doesn't leave very much time to organise every thing. I live in the Newcastle area and I was wondering if someone could help me out with the following:
- Where is the closest place where I can get my cacti treated and get a PHC?
- Roughly, how much would it cost to get it treated and get a PHC?
- Roughly, how long would bare rooted cacti last without sun light and water?
- Can I take it on a plane flight with me from Sydney to Perth?

Any help with the above questions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
