I agree with Shelia. After delievering the news to Janet that she is at a high risk for alzheimers it is his job to get her counseling if she so needs it. Also I do not think a primary physican has the proper knowledge of the disease to make a diagnosis. She should definetly see a specialist who knows and better understands the disease. A specialist would have more consice answers to the questions that Janet has after hearing the news. An informed doctor would be more supportive and compassionate.
