I totally agree with Blair, just because Lani does not have the mutation on her gene, outside effects can still mutate it. So although she may feel relief that she does not have breast cancer now, I think the genetic counselors should be responsible for informing her on all the other possilbe ways that she could get breast cancer and the chances of her actually getting it. This way Lani will be prepared for the disappointment if she does in fact get breast cancer later on.
