I agree with you in one aspect of this situation. I do not know what I would do if I was put in that situation, but I think that maybe it would be better if the person did not get the test done just so they can live their life the way they have been. If they find out they have the disease, they may become depressed and not try to accomplish any of the goals they have. On the other hand, it may give them the extra push they need to attain those goals. I think it is up to the person and how they will react to the testing. It is all relative to the person and they should think it out extensively before going through with it.
