Maybe the policy decision of using domestic tragedy that may NOT be terrorist-related to advance the radical right's efforts to impose martial law in America?

Or maybe it's just the policy decision to ignore the urban violence that's been rampant in DC for, like, ever in favor of the media head-bobbing about, ooh, suburban violence?
