Subject: I don't know, I just happened to catch that tidbit in an ESPN Bio thingie they did over the weekend. It seems like Ted wanted to see his son play in the Majors, so someone agreed to give the kid a shot.....it sounded like he wouldn't have had a chance in hell without Daddy's pull. Can't imagine after this stunt, that if he was playing ML Ball at the time of Ted's death, that there is a team that would want him.
