Subject: Lafaux, I read an article in the paper today about a woman in Houston who hit a homeless man with her car. It sounds like she then dragged him into her garage while he was begging for help while she went into the house to have sex with her boyfriend. They repeatedly checked on him, waiting for him to die. He continuely asked for help. He died and they took his body and dumped it somewhere else.
In reply to: Lafaux 's message, "Patrica, Could you enlighten me! What in the hell are you talking about?" on 06:28:01 03/09/02 Sat

I hope no one buys that. Yesterday in my local newspaper on the front page was a story about three teen boys who killed a man using a baseball bat. They said they were innocent because he picked on them. Patricia

[> [> [> [> [> Patricia, I admire our justice stystem because it does give the innocent the chance to prove that they are, but it's gotten out of hand. Any vile act can be justified, and this filters down to any offensive act that anyone commits. (A friend of mine blames it ALL on Bill Clinton, but I disagree with her vehemently on that point.) BTW - That story about the car murderer was so bizarre that I went rifling through my paper to see it for myself, and the first thing I saw was basicly what a really sweet and terrified girl his client is. -- Lafaux, 04:43:16 03/10/02 Sun

Sorry, but I concur. Clinton got away with PERJURY. Not that I GAFF whether or not he inhaled. Whether or not he exposed himself to Paula Jones. Whether or not he made a pass at a woman who begged him for a job. Whether or not he had Monica Lewinsky orally service him in the Oval Office. The ONLY thing that incenses me about allowing the taxpayer to run up a $40 million bill, because Clinton doesn't know the truth if it ran up behind him and kicked him in the ass, is the having to imagine him SEXUALLY.

But, I DIGRESS. Just as Clinton deduced that having Monica Lewinsky fellate him was NOT adultery, this broad deduced that because she didn't deliberately run over the homeless guy on her way to boff the boyfriend. Hell he was probably trying to panhandle her by jumping on her windshield, anyway. She should not have to be inconvenienced by having to get him to a hospital or 'splain it all to the cops.

Situational ethics, folks. Define THE.
