She suffers alone in silence
Just one more teen statistic
Trying to live from day to day
In a world that's so sadistic

He told her that he loved her,
Said she was the one,
But now she is alone
Caring for her son

Her world is all in shambles,
Her life is could have been,
Her only crime committed
Was the crime of loving him

She gave it all her everything
She did the best she could,
Why it all was thrown away
Is what she never understood

She looks into her baby's eyes
And sees his father there,
Why'd he do this to them both,
Why couldn't he just care

She feels her heart grow cold as stone,
Feels the hate begin to rise,
But she bears the pain all on her own,
The victim of his lies
