Subject: Is Todd stupid, or what?
What's with all of this "TRUST" for Teugh? She's one of the few people he does trust? Isn't she the woman who cleaned Andrew's navel with her tongue while Todd played board games? Isn't she the woman who turned him into Big John Sykes? Isn't she the one who wanted him prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and didn't she say so on the witness stand? Isn't she the one who teamed up with Kevin to bring Todd down? And, isn't she the one who left him? So why is it so hard for him to believe that she would once again betray him?
So, is he stupid or what?

The only thing I can think of is she helped him steal his kids from Blair. And she took a big fall out of that window, yet she still represented him in court. So to him that's trust. But more than anything, it will show how hard she will fall off that pedestal. -- DaJ, 16:32:12 06/26/02 Wed

DaJ, I think you hit the nail on the head. Teugh was instrumental in Todd's gaining custody of Starr, so why not think she will do it again? THIS time though she did LIE. She TOLD him she was going to help him and she betrayed him. Of course she is going to say that she did it FOR him (we saw that in the preview)and that she was trying to help him...just not in the way he wanted help.

Of course Todd is stupid. He's always stupid when he's with TeUGH!
I frankly thought that the scenes with "Dream Jack" tormenting his father about what he had done had more depth. They were certainly more compelling.

Yeah, he is.
How can you believe "I did it for you?" One of the biggest lies ever told in life. The Evil Alien didn't do it for Todd. She did it because it was the right thing to do (contrary to what Blair believes).
And like everyone's said, how can Todd trust The Beast? She left him twice. She cheated on him with Andrew. She sold him out to Sykes. WHY would he trust her? He never should have told her whose name I dare not mention.
Now he's here on Rossigan's Island (I still don't think he'd resort to being anyone's bitch boy), without his kids, and he can never set foot in Llanview or Hawaii again. And if he does, Todd had better not drop the soap. Todd's life has totally fallen apart.
Because he trusted The Evil Alien, and she sold him out... again. Yes, Todd is stupid for trusting IT. But she did do the right thing, and-- I know I'll be stoned for saying this-- we really can't blame her for that.
But the screeching, howling, and screemoting she's been doing lately is really unforgivable.
