But why does B not pressing charges automatically lead to forgiveness? Isn't there a difference? She could NOT put him in jail and yet personally, heartfully, 'not forgive him.' B could still walk away from him ... 'punish' him in so many other ways, none of which includes, pressing charges.

I don't really see the incompabitibility that you see.

I did get a giggle today when Bo and Blair both said, the DBL was the worst thing Todd ever did. He's done worse but I thought it was funny in light of some discussions that I've had ....

AND ... today the dialogue reflected my original point - that it's NOT inconsistent for Blair NOT to press charges ... and NOT to forgive Todd. It was exactly on point - too funny.

Eh, it's the small things that count.

Since Bo (Oh -I might agree with you there Bo -I can't make up my mind) says that the DBL is the worst thing Todd has ever done IT IS? That's your "validation"? That's kind of humorous since Tea's propping of T&B last week only meant, lousy writing, lack of history, crazy ep and writers, etc. etc. This week GT didn't know what he was talking about -this week he's an expert!

I am not paranoid ... you have misunderstood entirely. In fact, you've misunderstood everything that I've posted to you and you SEEM to have gotten a strange enjoyment in making everything appear other than what it WAS. At first Lafaux and I tried desperately to keep this board light but we have since rethought our position. All posters are allowed to go for broke with no fear of deletion, banning or any censure. This is more or less a private hangout for anyone who wants to be here and I just can't see how ANY of us can get any more insulting than we already have over the course of the last 5 years or so. LOL We have no allusions of grandeur that TPTB will hang here and we couldn't care less about the number of hits, we just want everyone to feel comfortable enough to say what ever comes to mind and that includes the TnT'ers (and the fans of other characters/couples management can't stand) brave enough to post here. ....Candy and Lafaux

and I agree -there are probably endless things Blair could do besides press charges. You're right -not pressing charges wouldn't necessarly lead to forgiveness -but if she didn't it would probably lead to a day's worth of speculation as to whether Blair had second thoughts about their future.

My point was -Why would anyone that felt the need to expound to me and any other T&B fan over and over again that the DBL was an evil unforgivable act and proved that Todd never loved Blair really give a rat's ass if she presses charges or not??? Come on! When there was a chance that T&B might stay together he was evil! She sould kick him to the curb! Now that they've split she's picking on him!

I think what it boils down to is that some people used the DBL to their advantage in argument -but when it comes down to it all they want is Todd with their girl.

And.....I'm not talking about all T&T fans.

And no, it's not ALL TnT fans or ALL Todd fans or ALL Tea fans.....but there are some who have decried this goofy character (ITA BTW) and said that they wouldn't want this guy anywhere near their girl! Another sentiment that I whole heartedly endorse. And many of these same people are now eagerly looking forward to how FL's Tea will draw out "real Todd", etc....I mean LMAO at the comments at how RH's horrible acting choices (he sucks, he's doing it for the money, etc.) are now suddenly "He comes alive when he's with FL!" "The Goof is gone!"......I'd do that eyeroll thing, but I really fucking hate that shit.

There is absolutely NO way I can or will even TRY to spin T&BUNK. It was stupid, horrible, contrived and amateurishly written by a CWTOC who decided to put their AMATEURISH skills at SITCOMEDY rather than giving us what we REALLY wanted: Drama, Passion and Romance. I LOATHED Blair's "Love Test" and The DelSnotto Sidestep.

Does that mean I have "seen the light" and suddenly want TnTripe...AGAIN? Ohhh, HELL no! Just as I rejected TWIT spin that Tea made Todd a better person; IMNSHO, she merely ENABLED that user, I also UNILATERALLY reject the Twit Crap-O-Ganda that acting with FL somehow makes RH a better actor and exorcises him of the DTG schtick he has been doing.

I have SEEN RH strut his stuff before his "Acting Soulmate" first surfaced on the show and he did an ABFAB without her. However, I DO blame "The RH Factor," complete with "certain contract restrictions" and a lot of OUTS.

And IF TFMIIC were stupid enough to bring RH back under those conditions, they should have simply brought the troll back WITH him and done "TnT3" THEN. Because IMNSHO, TnTripe is BETTER set up to handle an Asexual Leading Man by Making him a Frigid, Abusive Asshole than T&B was by watering Todd down into some kind of bumbling Sitcom Dad. I would have been FINE with it as long as they got Blair out of Holden Hell and put her with a Love Interest that didn't make me CRINGE.

I am HOPING that TMFIIC use TnTRoll Stroll Part DUH to do what they SHOULD hvae done the LAST time RH exited the canvas. And I mean NAIL that door shut behind him until RH gets hungry enough for Todd to get HORNY.

On screen or off, I really don't GIVE a damn that TnT will BE off OR on my screen as long as BLAIR isn't being shredded to prop it with Bad Mommy Hustles and denigrating her into a stupid bimbo propping Icky Losers again.

If Ross is well-written and put with Blair as a love interest, I could be a GREAT R&B fan and I'd have absolutely NO compunction about watching TnT. I could then be a Todd "We Don't Give A Damn ABout His Women" Firster. Just expect Téa to suck it up, assume the position and say, "Thank you, Sir, can I have another?" Because I TRULY DON'T give a shit WHO Todd abuses as long as it AIN'T BLAIR.
