Todd made sure Jack was "safe" before giving him to Paloma? How do you mean that? He made sure he survived the birth safely before handing him over with a wad of cash and the cold instructions "Get rid of it"? (side note: *sigh* how I miss my favorite flashback).....well he sure wasn't concerned for his safety when he handed him over to that skanky looking baby broker in the Mexican airport.
And for me, it was never really about how "truly Toddian" it was of him to do that. I can see Blair seeing his angle in all this, not wanting to raise Max's son, wanting his own family intact,untainted, etc...but what I cannot get over and what I think Blair should not get over (because Blair is me after all, LOL, and it's all about me) anyway, the kicker is that this is the THIRD son that Todd has helped Blair bury. He has told her about all three deaths and MOURNED the first two with her (even when #2 WASN'T HIS!)....that he would so blithely tell his supposed "OTB" that her third son had died......nope no forgiveness there.

And if Todd laid a hand on Blair, he'd probably lose that hand.

And I think Todd will be lucky if Blair doesn't find out the whole truth in regard to the baby broker, the nuns, David Vickers, and Ol Buck what's his face... could you imagine Buck finding out that Jeter wasn't his after all, and chucking him out ala Todd like yesterday's garbage along with his goldigging wife? What would she do with the baby she just bought him as insurance so that she could smooch off of Buck...what kind of life would this kid have...maybe he would have wound up with that band of gypsies after all!

He kidnapped Starr...He kidnapped Jack...um when is this shit gonna stop?

Not that 1995 Todd STILL didn't have it IN him to be a vindictive asshole, but I think it helped that he had had SOME really good therapy from Ray Marino AND had to face some consequences, i.e. Statesville Prison, even though it was for a few short months.

Then he spat on the Gift of Grace that Fate handed him when he remarried Blair by going off to personally rescue (SHOWOFF TO) Martyr Sayebrooke and got shot for his pains and then came to PUTRIDITY and all the fallout from Brendan.

Now, after he met the troll, he was shielded from ANY consequences for his bad actions. "You blew up Guy Armitage? Let's go to Disney World!" He killed a guy and threw his baby daughter in harm's way and it was the mother who TRIED to protect her who lost custody and was villified as the bad parent by the entire town, NOT HIM. Moreover, the enabler who assisted him was CANONIZED by the entire town.

NOT a good life lesson.

While I will ALWAYS harbor hopes that Todd and Blair can find their way back to each other, I do NOT want a Tripetized Todd anywhere NEAR her. I do NOT want some repetition where Big Bad TéUgh rescues Poor Widdle Tawd from Big Bad Blair and takes off her with Blair's offspring again. This time Todd HAS to lose before I EVER consider him viable with Blair.

If he gets away with it again, this time, stick a fork in him, he's DONE. You might as well feed Todd to the twitty.
