To be fair, though, this board has its problems too.

With the new board they have fixed some of the things people specifically complained about here.

The new board displays the threads chronologically based on last post (rather than 1st post), so you can see precisely where the activity is. Each single entry represents an entire thread, so even with 50 posts on that one topic, it doesn't push everything else off the screen.

I can sympathize with the desire to get doping into a separate board area, because a lot of posters didn't like those subjects, but I think they could recombine a lot of the others. Personally, I don't see why discussions of racing needs to be separated from discussions about teams and riders or even from equipment questions. Especially with the way the new forums display each thread topic, it is easy to just not open the ones you don't care about.

I kind of agree that the new forums seem to lack much energy, and frankly it doesn't help that the worlds' most uptight, control-freak moderator scolds posters publically for stuff I hadn't even noticed as much out of the norm for public boards. IMO the self-proclaimed Site Goddess (more like site Nazi) needs to spend some time on RBR and re-calibrate. These heavy-handed tactics are going to kill any chance of it becoming a vital, dynamic board.
