Can't agree with that, particularly since DLO obviously sought to turn it into a flame war. I mean, how is saying things like "Horner could kick your ass" simply expressing disagreement with what was said by Mineta? And if all we really have here, as DLO claims, is a "disagreement," then big deal, people disagree. Nothing to get your panties in a twist over. That said, I would tend to agree with you (and not with DLO) that this isn't a simple disagreement.

I agree, and that is why I spoke up against DLO's post, in spite of the fact that I agree the original post was offensive. Why? Because any community has to at least try to clean up its own act (of existing members) before you can fairly begin to "monitor" the conduct of potential new members in the community.

Perhaps the post should have been removed from the board, I don't know.

Nice try twisting things around. Such tactics are hardly conducive to a quality community. I haven't defended Mineta's post. I did say that people have a right to an opinion and it's true. I certainly didn't agree with anything he said. I was simply commenting on DLO's own conduct which is ongoing in this forum and by his own past admission meant to do nothing but "go after" people. The last thing this community needs is DLO trolling the "front door"; the community will never grow. I've never seen Mineta post here before and he may be a troll.
