Doping in tennis is not as great a concern as it is cycling because tennis is primarily a game of mental toughness and techinique, like golf. Neither of these are greatly enhanced by doping.

The thing that changed with Federer wasn't his game or his ability (i.e. his technique), it was his mentality. The same thing is true of Roddick, and is the main explantion as to why Safin's game is so spotty (Safin has immense talent, but is a nutter).

Federer's game isn't questioned because it speaks for itself, and always has (he was the Wimbeldon Junior Champion after all)--anyone who plays the way he does, ought to win (read Hewitt's and Henman's last US Open transcripts). Is there any doping product that can give one shots and strategy? Endurance and recovery yes, but shots and strategy, I don't believe so. What might raise eyebrows would be if a veteran player all of sudden became Federer--then people might wonder...

The problem of cheating in tennis is more a problem of players bribing players to throw matches, bribed linesmen, and bribed chair umpires etc....
