As I keep saying, you still can see the whole thing at once!

Just click on the "View New Posts" option on the right hand side. You get all the threads that have been active since the last time you visited - on just one page. Personally, I just read what I want, using the back button to get back to the page listing that was generated all the active threads and then click on the "Make all threads read" option. I only go into the categories if I'm looking for a thread that hasn't been active since the last time I visited (which isn't very often).
