Hi all,
Just a quick update.
Thanks for the donations.
I'm going to try and have up a new forums by Monday. This will be the same format as we currently had. It may or may not include all of our archives (If I can, it will) thing is we need to continue our conversations. Sorry this has taken so long.
I'm looking at two options:
1. Move it all to a hosted location run by the creators of the forum program (this is a fairly low cost solution that allows growth to double our current archive - and will insure support that will get us updated with all the latest updates and do them automatically.)
2. move the forums to the Daily Peloton dedicated server which already has excellent 24/7 service.
Currently a new server is being built by our guys at Sleek who immediately stepped in with a solution. (We've been with Sleek for 6 years now. We were one of their first cuxtomers and they have always gone the extra step to ensure excellent service and support for us.)
We have upgraded the server to more robust and faster servers 5 times in the past ten years to handle our growth; but not in the last two due to cost.
The new server will also make it possible for us to update the program the dailypeloton has run on the last 10 years. This has been in the works for the last year.
I'm no technical wizard but most of the work has been done using a CMS system but I'm assured that a few of us should be capable of finishing the design and move the DP archives over to the new system... I may need help with that so we can build a site that is what you the readers would like.
As we did when we relaunched the site in 2002 I'm open for suggestions from the readers in what you would like to see in a new format.
I have some ideas that I would like to add to our content side driven by the readers.

I'm also interested in your feedback regarding the forums such as the forums skins or the solutions above.
