Am I surprised? No. I stopped posting on this board after some venomous replies about doping and its ills. Funny how if you ride and dope and confess, pay your dues/fines/suspensions you get reinstated and get to ride again supposedly after truly being 'penitent' about your misdeeds a la , lets say Simeoni of Domina Vacanze. Ballerini selected him to ride for Italy for the upcoming World Championships in Verona!! Talk about having your 'halo' newly restored. However, if you continue to ride and deny, deny, deny, any doping allegations swearing on your wife, pet, child and assorted others even calling other teammates liars and crazy for defaming you (a la Tyler Hamilton and David Millar) you do eventually get caught. I guess the saying 'where there is smoke, there is usually fire' is not entirely too out of line. Wonder how Lance is feeling this morning especially since his bonue is being held up in escrow for the same type of allegations?
Oh..just some things to ponder over this morning's coffee.
