Glad you got to see the ponies run at Del Mar..that is quite a facility, being right on the ocean...next year...bring your bike and I will take you out and about...or...if you can ride a 57 or 58, you can ride one of mine (just bring your pedals!) North County is a great place to ride...I moved here permanently about a year ago (from Orange County/LA) and I just cannot believe the number of cyclists and racing cyclists who go out on the weekends...(last Saturday on the way to our club ride at 7:30 AM, I counted over 150 in 20 miles going the other direction!) Even the weekday afternoons are nice, and I am going out now for a couple of hours.
