Is the fact that there are so many freekin' Italians that are good enough to win the worlds and non of them would work for eachother. The speedway at Zolder wisened them up enough to realize the only way they could win that was with Cipo, but any course with any selectivity...forget about cooperation.

So let's say Cunego bows out of the Vuelta on Ballerini's promise of riding the worlds...what are his chances of being the leader? of winning? What are his chances of Ballerini keeping his word? I think it would be hard for him to drop out of the Vuelta if he's in the top 5.

The greatest smack in the face would be for Rebellin to get the green light to race for Argentina, and to win. Good luck Davide!
