Yes, I'd say he kind of just cranked it up one more notch and began to lead the sprint out from the front, but couldn't quite hold it. T-Mobile have two options here potentially, I still think it's a travesty Evans didn't get the Tour trip.

Interesting, plus excellent I suppose, to see Aitor Gonzalez up there on the same time too. Back with a vengeance? To be honest, he seemed like a bit of a pretentious so-and-so. Well at least attacking your own massively-popular-at-home teammate Sevilla in Vuelta 2002 will never gain him much support in Spain.....

But I'd like him to come back to a respectable placing overall!
