Subject: Heras? No way
In reply to: Heras will win anyways. ChrisH 's message, "I'm not liking the rule for bonus seconds for the sprints for stages 2-7 only." on 13:38:35 09/06/04 Mon

Manolo Saiz is the D.S. Therefore, Heras will not win the Vuelta. It is more likely that Saiz will be kicked out of the Vuelta than that Heras will win. It is more likely that Crazy Jane will cheer Aitor Gonzalez to a Vuelta victory than that Heras will win.

Actually a bigger problem for Heras is that a number of excellent climbers have caught and surpassed him in ability. Then there are the near-Armstrong type of riders. I'll be surprised if Heras even podiums in this Vuelta. His best bet is a stage win.
