on the other hand, though, having american stars dispersed amongst foreign and american teams probably makes them less of targets for hostile fans or terrorists. i was always afraid that postal would be seen as the american national team and that its riders would be vulnerable. (this was becoming less and less so because most of the riders that rode for postal in europe were european.)
