Your statement is a true example of nonsense. Danielson is at his best in the high mountains. Perhaps you are not aware of the fact that he has the fastest time up Mt. Washington and Mt. Evans. The former is more difficult than the Angliru and Motorola. The Vuelta's route could not be better designed for Danielson.

That's why you put him in the Giro or Vuelta instead of the Tour. Unfortunately, all he's got so far are broken promises. Danielson would've gotten a Vuelta ride with Postal.

You could have said the same about Cunego or Valverde. Fassa are clearly not using Danielson wisely. Up to this year, Ferretti had been a good DS. However, this year Fassa is languishing 8th (instead of the usual 1st or 2nd) in the team rankings because the team is too heavily weighted with sprinters. The Vuelta doesn't have many flat stages. Ferretti should be putting more emphasis on GC riders.
