hehe, maybe, but I don't think there are many riders who focus solely on the worlds in the last part of the season. Apart from established names in one-day racing like Freire and Van Petegem, that is. I think the worlds are just fine where they are now...because let's face it, if the Armstrongs of this world really wanted to try their hand at the worlds they'd find a way to fit it in their schedule anyhow.

Besides, I think the winners of the last 10 WCs (on strongly varying courses) show that the big GC names are barely "gettin' any" at the worlds. Some ppl sometimes seem to forget that one-day racing is as much a field of expertise as GC racing is. (not directed to you Julian...I'm just ranting about the worlds, heh ;) )

I hope it's a group sprint at the worlds this year! ;)
