Well, I don't know what point "ARL" was trying to make. But I think that you can not make a big deal about Tyler Farrar winning a flat sprint stage when he was shelled off the back in the first difficult stage in l'Avenir.

Riders like Lövkvist, Renäng, Chavanel, Veloso, Hary - they are all the ones to watch for (also Thomas Dekker who crashed out but is a real star). They are all young like Farrar, but with much better results, even against the big boys sometimes (check out the Dekker's performance against the sandbaggers from USPS in the over-rated Algarve this spring).
