To Whom It May Concern,

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please consider this as a formal note of intent to apply for a full-time English instructor position within your institution.

My name is Julianna F. Zoelde, I am a 27 year old English and Spanish language and literature graduate from Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, Romania. I am trilingual (Hungarian,Romanian and German). I now speak fluently five languages (English and Spanish added to the initial three) and I learnt strong
conversational Turkish while living and working in Turkey. During my 9 month contract in Poland I managed to learn some survival Polish.

My educational and previous experience in the field of ELT are outlined in my CV below. I was awarded an MA in British Cultural Studies with a major
in Applied Linguistics. (dissertation: "Conflict management in the classroom") and a BA in English and Spanish Language and Literature. Following that
I obtained the diploma of Cambridge Proficiency in English, with Pass A. This is the highest English language proficiency test now available in Europe.
The university years gave me a solid foundation in English language and literature. I have spent 3 months in England and later two months in Northern
Ireland as part of a research project in British Cultural Studies. The study trips have helped me deepen my theoretical knowledge and develop linguistically
as well.

My work as an English teacher and teacher trainer for Foreign Language School Cluj-Napoca (Romania)as well as my experience as a teacher assistant at
the university allowed me to develop as a teacher and at the same time gave me a three year continuous experience in TEFLA in an academic and private, customer-oriented environment. I have taught Grammar, Conversation, Idioms, Reading, Writing,Business English, World Topics. I have prepared students for TOEFL, PET, FCE, CAE. I was in charge of creating, proof-reading, evaluating and grading student work and writings. I also have teaching experience in a computer lab environment.

I can send, upon request, excellent student/faculty evaluations.
I have had excellent end-of-session student evaluations.

I have completed the RSA CELTA course successfully. (pass B) Upon completion I had obtained a position as an ESL teacher for adults in Istanbul,
Turkey. It was my first international job, really, in a different culture that I had to adapt to and adjusted perfectly.

I have learnt nearly fluent conversational Turkish plus I learnt a lot about problems that non-native students of English have, especially with
grammar structures.

I have been working as an ESL instructor for the past 9 months in a private language institution in Gorzow Wielkopolski, Poland. It is a new linguistic environment and a challange in every possible way. I am ending my contract on the 10th of June, 2002.

Today I have over 5 years experience in TEFLA, in Romania, Hungary, Turkey and Poland , in both private language institutions and academic environment. My teaching strengths are my ability to anticipate problems, designing lesson plans and curriculum for particular levels or age groups, strong interpersonal and intercultural communicative skills, reliability and efficiency, dynamism and creativity.

I have teaching experience in all levels from Beginner to Advanced students. I have always concentrated on preparing original, creative and effective
classroom teaching materials. (handouts, assignments, quizzes, tests, extra reading, etc)

I am fluent in three languages (English, Hungarian, and Romanian), conversational and fluent in reading and writing in other three. (German, Spanish, Turkish)

I would like to change jobs and work for a different institution in a different country because I would like to deepen my practical knowledge in the field as well as feel challanged ina new environment.

I am a dedicated, conscientious, independent, creative self-starter and a team
player.

I am able to work unsupervised or within a team, and would appreciate the opportunity of helping your institution meet its goals.

I also have a scanned observation sheet from former employers. (DOS
Julia Kragh, Universal Academy, Istanbul or current employer, Renata Szumilas, Macpherson's School of English, Gorzow, Poland)

I am looking for a minimum one year, full-time contract. I would like to work with young adults or adults only. I have limited experience with teenagers and junior classes. My entire career is focused on working with young adults or
adults.

I am looking forward to hearing from you. If you need any more information, please contact me at:

Juliánna Zölde-Fejér
