OBJECTIVE: To secure a challenging, full-time ESL position where my proven skills in teaching writing, reading, listening, speaking and grammar would be of value, a post in which I may cultivate new and existing expertise as well as creatively impact the lives of others.

SUMMARY: Currently an Adjunct Professor of English as a Second Language as well as an off-site ESL trainer through the Cambridge Department of Human Services (clients in partnership with the division include Fleet Financial Services, the Massachusetts Department of Education and Training, and the Cambridge Health Alliance). Also, a part-time Instructor with EF International’s Corporate English program at the North American headquarters in Boston. Formerly a Part-time lecturer in writing, composition, listening, and reading to foreign students at the Harvard Law School. Worked as a yearlong ESL lecturer in Eastern Europe at the University level. Received certification in the techniques and administration of the Cambridge First Certificate Exam and the P.E.T. exams used by British Universities in the U. K. Earned a CELTA, TEFL, or TESOL equivalent teaching certificate from Berlitz International in Washington D.C. that included 32 hours of classroom experience with ESL foreign national students and diplomats. Author of two published plays, one published travel guide, an internal database of world festivals for Monk Publishing and one unpublished novel. Held a television internship as a writer for the NBC sci-fi series “Dark Skies”. Named “Best Young American Writer - 1993” by Dramatics Magazine.
