Greetings
I’m a 39 year old EFL professional from the San Francisco Bay Area with over 10 years’ experience teaching high-level executives and gov´t officials, prestigious language centers, scientists in the petro-chemical industry, and courses at a major
university (The Mexican Polytechnic Institute-“IPN”) who has learned that students who are laughing and really enjoying the class are extremely open to learning. My classes are frequently described as dynamic and I must admit I enjoy them as much as my students ( I sure aint in this for the money, though that is, ofcourse an important factor) My experience in this field includes instruction at all levels, method development, coordination, public relations/sales, and translation, so I’d be especially interested in a position in a company that offers a chance for growth. I am 100% bilingual, bicultural, computer literate and a dedicated professional not just looking for temporary work. And while I may have ample experience working in a university, I do not, however, have a Bachelor’s Degree as of yet (and, truth be told, no real driving ambition to get one at this stage of the game-not much time between work and family). However if you are more interested in many years of proven high quality results than a piece of parchment (probably in some completely unrelated field) then we could both be exactly what the other is looking for. Basically I’m looking for a long-term (1 year or more) contract but might consider less if the offer were good. All of my papers are in order (passport, Teacher’s Certificate, RFC, FM2, recibos for Mexico, etc) and I’m available to travel anywhere in Latin America.
