Hi!
I heard a very interesting historian and author on Art Bell, named Laurence Gardener (think I spelled it right) Anyway, he digs into history of the old families, clans n wise folk, also looks into word derivation (for instance he claims the word Fairy comes from Pharoh, and that the fairies were originally wise people who held the knowledge, but were purposely diminished and made to seem like small folk, to take away people's belief in them) Well, you have to read the book! The main idea is that he claims there is more truth to these legends n myths than meets the eye.
