Time's... funny on Namek. The three suns vastly alter what
time really is here. The nights only last 2-3 hours and the
normal year is about 4 months! I learned this from the
Elder of a Namekian village I just passed. The old Namek
was generous enough to hand me the 5-star dragonball that
wasn't even on kmy radar. At least, at first. He had a
special jamming device that could even throw off the signal
of a dragon radar and place the signal somewhere else. As
soon as he turned off the jammer, the signal appeared right
where it should have been; in his own house. After we said
our goodbyes, I left in search of the last two dragonball;
the 6-star and the 4-star. "Better enjoy what time you have
left Radditz. As soon as I find all seven, you're done
After about 3 hours of walking, I've come to a vast ocean
with no end in sight. I flick on my radar. According to it,
the next Dragonball is about five miles in the direction in
I'm facing. "But... that means it's in ocean! Worse yet, it
may be in an area to deep for me to swim to because of the
increased pressure!" I think about it for a bit and realize
that there's no way around it. "I didn't come this far to
not get all the dragon balls! Damnit! I'm gonna get it,
even if it kills me!" I say to myself with renewed
determination. "But first, I better get loosened up." I
perform my routine strretches, situps, and pushups.I then
stand in place and startto jump in place, gradually
increasing how high up I go with each bounce, much like a
trampoline. After reaching a maximum of 100 feet, I throw
random punches and kicks into there, again, putting an
emphasis on my Namekian-style axe kick. After doing all
this, it still isn't enough. "I still don't comfortable
going down there yet. Better get more warmed up." I need
to take it to the next level. I wade into the water until
I'm about waist deep and begin charging.

My blue aura glows healthily around me. "All right. Let's
continue," I say to myself. I begin throwing punches and
kicks into the air at a vastly increased rate. I now
avereage about 100 attacks per minute. I do some handstand
pushups for about an hour, performing about 1,000 in that
hour. Once I get up, I realize that I've never done that
much of anything before. 400 and 500 were already high
numbers for me, but 1,000? "I guess my training's ggoing a
little better than expected." i then decide that I'm
already warmed up but I need to mentally prepare myself. I
leave my weighted gear and armor on and keep my aura
blazing as I lapse into concentration. In about 2 hours, I
believe I'll face my greatest challenge yet.
