Subject: Training (and first dragon ball)

At last! Namek is in view and should be landing in a few
minutes! "So... this is my TRUE home planet. It looks much
like earth; green continents, blue oceans; it's much more
different than what I expected it to be." It suddenly dawns
on me that I've never seen another Namek before in my life!
Not even my demonic father! With this thought in my, I put
on my armor and weighted gear, tie my bag of senzu beans to
my belt, and place my dragon radar in the belt pouch I made
for it. Looking through the viewport, I can see that I've
already entered the atmosphere of Namek. A few minutes
late, the ship touches down in the middle of a Namekian
village. The hatch slowly opens and I can hear gasps and
whispers outside of the ship. once fully open, I see about
a dozen or so Namekians staring at me. Cautiously, I step
forward and down the ramp into the midst of the onlookers.
They back away as I step towards them. One of them
continuously stares at me. At last, he gasps and says,
"Ahhh! Run for your lives! Piccolo has returned!" Returned?
I've never been here! They start to run away but an older
Namek stops them and says, "Peace my friends! He is not the
one you fear! Notice his aura!" They look at me and I look
at myself. i didn't notice it before, but my blue aura is
blazing! "You see friends, the one you fear had a red aura!
His is blue! Come! Let's go greet the stranger!" They gasp
in relief and walk back towards me. The older Namek asks
me, "You DO look familiar though... what is your name? I
look down and reply, "Piccolo." They gasp in horror at the
mention of my name. "I see now," the elder says, "you must
be the son of that demon Piccolo. Your names are the same
but your auras and personalities are far different. So...
Piccolo... what brings you to Namek? And what has happened
to your father?" I reply, "He's dead. A saiyan by the name
of Goku killed him. I was born just before he died on
Earth. To answer your first question, I'm here to find the
7 dragon balls, so that I may call upon Porunga." "Porunga?
What's wrong?" the elder says. I reply, "Earth is under
attack by a name of Radditz. If I don't receive the
assistance of Porunga, Earth will be destroyed!" The elder
looks at me, puts his hand into my aura, and walks away. A
minute later, he comes back. "Take this." he says, and
hands me a Dragon with 2 stars on it. "I believe you
Piccolo, savior of Earth. You are welcome to stay as long
as you wish. hopefully, you'll find the dragon balls soon
so that you can banish that fiend you call Radditz." I give
him my deepest thanks, and proceed to personally meet every
Namek in the village. After that, I flip on the dragon
radar, and head off in the direction of the nearest dragon
ball. I wave goodbye to the villagers and begin my search
for the other balls. I start by stretching while I walk and
perform several aerobic excercises while I walk. I take a
look around and notice that Namek is actually nicer than
Earth. Perhaps I should just stay here... NO! Everybody on
Earth is counting on me! I must return! I decide to stop
for a while and do some training. I didn't notice before
because of the excitement earlier but the gravity here
seems to be about 5 times greater than on Earth. "Wow.
These clothesare REALLY heavy now!" I say to myself. I then
decide to practice my kicks and punches and work on some of
specialty attacks, such as my axe kick and elbow drop. I
can already feel the difference in training in this
gravity. "It ceratainly is more difficult. I then get an
idea. i get a big breath of air, and jump into a lake and
sink to the bottom. Between the gravity, weighted clothes,
armor, and the water, my arms and legs get a real workout.
As soon as I get out of the lake, I decide to finish up by
practicing my signature move.

Piccolo: "Hmmm... HA! BEAM CANNON!!!::
The beam cannon rips through the sky and beams through
space for god nows how far. "All right! This gravity is
really helping me! I'll be stronger than Radditz in no
time!" I chuckle and continue to look for the second dragon
ball. "One down... six to go..."
