Subject: Training

I'm still lying on the ground, 6 hours later. The rain is still coming down, just as cool as before. I sit up. I didn't realize how long I was lying there. I must've lapsed into concentration, though I don't remember what I was thinking about. "Must be the human's equivalent of sleep," I say to myself. Noticing that my gear is still on, I slowly get up, Remembering that my wounds from earlier still hurt a bit. "Uhh… that tornado got me good." I look up at the sky. Not a shred of sunlight anywhere that I can see. "Looks like it's going to rain for a couple of days. Good. I always liked the rain. Better conditions to train in," I say to myself. I begin my routine stretches and do my normal sit-ups and pushups (including one-handed). Afterwards, I throw a flurry of punches and kicks into the air. I decide today to work on my acrobatic skills. I start of by doing 3 handstands, holding them for ten minutes at a time. Then, 2 for 15 minutes at a time. Finally, I do one for a period of 30 minutes. This leaves my arms feeling extremely strained and tired. To ease the strain on my arms, I decide to lay in the lake for about an hour. The clouds appear to not have moved during that time. I get out of the water, stretch once again, and begin doing sets of 25 front flips in a row. After that, I do 25 back flips in a row. Then, I make sure no one's looking, I start doing cartwheels (hey, it's good excercise). Finally, to end my aerobics training, I perform 20 front hand springs in a row. I'm very tired but I can't tell how much sweat I've produced, thanks to the rain. Before I begin charging practice, I decide to work on perfecting my balance. I plant a very thin (but very strong) piece of rock in the ground, stand on it with my right foot, and hold it for three hours. After that, I do the same thing with my left leg. Now for charging. I swim to the middle of the lake and begin charging.
::charge::
::charge::
::charge::
::charge::
::charge::
::puts fingers to forehead::
::aims downward::
::BEAM CANNON!!!::
The blast of the attack sends me and all the water in the lake flying into the air. A minute later, the water and myself return to where they were in the first place, like nothing happened. I swim to the shore, take off my gear, begin hovering, and lapse, once again, into deep concentration as the cool rain continues to pour down upon me.
